This Belimo passive frost monitor is designed to monitor the temperatures of water/air heaters in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. The frost monitor prevents frost damage to the cooling registers by measuring temperature with a range of -10 and 15 °C (14 and 59 °F), with a default setting of 5 °C (41 °F). It has a capillary of 3 meters. The frost monitor output signal for frost protection switch is a changeover (single-pole double-throw (SPDT). The output signal is 230 V AC/DC. This frost monitor has a switching reliability of a minimum switching current 100 mA at 24 V AC/DC. The frost monitor has a protection rating of IP65. The microswitch returns automatically to its starting position as the temperature rises.
