This Belimo active Frost monitor is designed to consistently measure temperature within a range of 0 and 15 °C (32 and 59 °F), with a default setting of 5 °C (41 °F). It has a capillary of 2 meters. This frost monitor operates on a supply voltage of 24 V AC. The output signal for the frost protection switch is a changeover, while the general output signal is 0 to 10 V. The frost monitor ensures reliable switching with a minimum switching current of 100 mA at 12 V AC. The frost monitor has a protection rating of IP42. The frost monitor includes an LED display, showcasing a 2-digit segment display. It is designed to monitor the temperatures of water and air heaters in ventilation and air conditioning systems, preventing frost damage to heating registers. With an active capillary tube, the frost monitors continuously signal the risk of frost through a 1-pole potential-free changeover.
