Insertion paddle-wheel flow meter with display for neutral and mildly aggressive, particle-free liquids. Measures and totalises flow and can control dosing, with a 4-20 mA output for process integration. An insertion meter reaches a probe into the pipe through a single port, so one compact unit fits a wide range of pipe sizes without a full-bore meter body. It installs through a tee or weld-in fitting (such as the Bürkert S020), ordered to match your line.

The Bürkert 8025 remote batch controller is the electronics and display unit of a remote dosing meter. It has no sensor and does not measure on its own: it reads the pulse signal from a separate Bürkert flow sensor, shows and totalises the flow, and doses a set amount by opening and closing a valve until the target is reached. "Remote" means the electronics are mounted away from the sensor and wired by cable, not wirelessly. This version mounts in a control panel.

A working dosing system is the controller, a flow sensor, the sensor's own fitting, and a dosing valve. It works with the Bürkert flow sensors listed for the 8025 transmitter, and the fitting depends on the sensor chosen.

Pro

  • Doses a set amount automatically and totalises flow
  • Local display, with relay outputs to drive the dosing valve
  • Mounts away from the pipe, in a panel or on a wall

Con

  • No sensor or valve: the flow sensor, its fitting, and the dosing valve are ordered separately
  • Does not measure on its own
