G1/2'' Internal Profiled Seal Copper for Pressure Gauge [5 Pieces]
This copper sealing ring is used between a pressure gauge and mating surface to prevent leakage. Designed for G 1/2 inch male connection point located below or in the rear of the pressure gauge. Seal has an internal diameter of 8 mm and an outer diameter of 14.8 mm. It is a profile seal allowing for the correct orientation of the pressure gauge readout. It is internally centered.

Description
This copper sealing ring is typically used as a mechanical seal between a pressure gauge and mating surface to prevent leakage. They are often times considered gaskets. It is meant for connection sizes of G 1/2 inch. It has an internal diameter of 8 mm, outer diameter of 14.8 mm, and a height of 4,2 mm. It is a profile seal, meaning it has the advantage to turn an additional 1/2 or full rotation after a proper seal has been made. This allows for the correct orientation of the pressure gauge readout. It is internally centered and relies on the pressure gauge centering pin. For additional centering information, please refer to the datasheet.
Pros:
- Allows for a proper seal between the pressure gauge and mounting surface
- It is a profile seal, meaning it has the advantage to turn an additional 1/2 or full rotation after a proper seal has been made for the correct orientation of the pressure gauge readout
Cons:
- Can only be used once and when uninstalled it requires a new seal to be used to ensure proper sealage
MW-S series
The ML-S seal series it ideally used as a mechanical seal (gasket) between a pressure gauge and the mating surface to prevent any leakage. Designed for G 1/4, G 3/8, or G 1/2 inch connections. Profile seals (internally or externally centered) or flat seals are available. Profile seals are recommended to allow for extra rotation for proper gauge readout orientation.
