Rp 1 1/4'' 3-Way Stainless Steel Electric Ball Valve T-port 100-240 V AC

This JP Fluid Control electrical actuator is offered in combination with a TamesonPRO 3-way ball valve. It can turn the valve from 0-90 degrees with an operating torque of 50 Nm (higher break torque so please see the manual) in a time of 13 seconds. It requires a supply voltage of 100-240 V AC has a duty cycle of S2, and comes with a visual positioning indicator on top of the unit to clearly see valve position. The stainless steel valve has three Rp 1 1/4'' female threaded ports. The valve has a 25 mm bore, with Kv value of 46.2 m³/h (Cv = 53.4 gpm). Kv expresses the flow rate of water in m³/h at a pressure drop of one bar. The valve is rated up to 69 bar at 20°C (1000 psi at 68°F). It is suitable for temperatures from -29°C up to 210°C (-20°F up to 410°F). The valve is suitable for water, steam, oil, compressed air, fuels, solvents and aggressive media. Due to the actuator's durable housing, it has a protection rating of IP67 and can withstand an environmental temperature of -10°C till 50°C (14°F till 122°F).

Bore and circuit function

The ball has a T-port. Rotating the ball 90 degrees allows you to switch between two circuits or connect all three pipes. The ports overlap during rotation.

Application

This valve can be used in combination with gases and fluids. The valve is durable and suitable for different aggressive and corrosive media. The maximum pressure at room temperature is 69 bar (1000 psi), at higher temperatures the maximum allowed temperature decreases. The direction of pressure is not important, the direction of flow may be in any direction. The temperature range of the medium lies between -29°C to 210°C (-20°F to 410°F). At high temperatures, it is recommended to install the valve in a ventilated area. It is allowed to install the valve in a humid environment provided that all parts, like an appropriate electrical cable, are correctly fixed. Some examples of applications for this valve are HVAC, irrigation, industrial automation, water management.

Connect terminal 2 to the power supply, connecting terminal 4 to the power supply closes the actuator, connecting terminal 5 to the power supply opens the actuator.

Assembly

Make sure that the position of the ball and the actuator are properly set before assembly. The actuator is provided with two adapters to connect the actuator to the valve shaft. Mount the actuator to the valve with the provided bolts. There should be no play between both flanges. Use our fittings range for the connection between the pipe and the valve.
