Insertion paddle-wheel flow meter with display for neutral and mildly aggressive, particle-free liquids. Measures and totalises flow and can control dosing, with a 4-20 mA output for process integration. An insertion meter reaches a probe into the pipe through a single port, so one compact unit fits a wide range of pipe sizes without a full-bore meter body. It installs through a tee or weld-in fitting (such as the Bürkert S020), ordered to match your line.

The Bürkert 8025 Universal flow transmitter is the electronics and display unit of a remote flow meter. It has no sensor and does not measure on its own: it reads the pulse signal from a separate Bürkert flow sensor and turns it into a flow reading, a 4-20 mA output, and a local display. "Remote" means the electronics are mounted away from the sensor and wired to it by cable, not wirelessly. This version mounts on a wall near the line.

A working meter is three parts: this transmitter, a flow sensor, and the sensor's own fitting. The Universal version works with Bürkert 8020, 8030 (SE30 with S030), 8030HT, 8031, 8041, 8070, 8071, 8077, and SE30 with S077, as well as third-party sensors that have a compatible frequency output. The fitting depends on the sensor chosen.

Pro

  • Works with a wide range of Bürkert and third-party frequency sensors
  • 4-20 mA output and local display
  • Mounts away from the pipe, in a panel or on a wall

Con

  • No sensor: a separate flow sensor and its fitting are ordered separately
  • Does not measure on its own
