This FKM round cord has a 6.99 mm diameter and a 1 m length. It is ideal for creating large-diameter O-rings when combined with instant adhesive. FKM is a high performance compound and is resistant to many high temperature chemicals.

Pros:

  • Good resistance to oils and solvents such as aliphatic, aromatic and halocarbons, acids, animal and vegetable oils
  • Suitable for temperatures from -15 to +200°C (5 to 392°F)
  • Good mechanical properties, resistant to compression set

Cons:

  • Poor resistance to hot water and steam
  • Unsuitable for polar solvents, certain esters and ethers, glycol based brake fluid
