Stainless steel DN 90 (4 inch) Camlock coupling socket with G 4 inch female thread. This coupling is a Type D coupling (straight socket with female threaded end). The maximum operating pressure is 7 bar (102 psi). The coupling is suitable for temperatures between -10 to 80 °C (14 to 176 °F). It has the Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and NBR flat seals. The coupling adheres to the EN 14420-7 (DIN 2828) standard.

The coupling requires two parts: the socket (female) and the plug or adapter (male part). To connect the Camlock coupling, insert the plug (adapter) into the socket and press the levers down. To disconnect, lift both levers and pull out the plug.

Pros:

  • Full bore with minimal pressure loss
  • Suitable for solids, since there are no internal valves
  • Stainless steel plugs and sockets have excellent corrosion resistance
  • The coupling adheres to the EN 14420-7 (DIN 2828) standard
  • It has safety cotter pins to prevent accidental decoupling
