Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) DN 5 coupling socket with 4x6 mm union nut. A pneumatic coupling is used to quickly connect air tools to a compressed air line. These sockets have a special 'pull-off' design, which allows decoupling by simply pulling on the plug and hose.

The operating pressure range is 0 to 80 bar (0 to 1160 psi). The coupling is suitable for temperatures between -20 to 120 °C (-4 to 248 °F). The seal material is FKM.

Pros:

  • DN 5 plastic couplings are compatible with the metal quick couplings DN 5
  • These are often considered a good alternative to brass couplings
  • They are a cost-efficient alternative to stainless steel versions
  • These sockets have a special 'pull-off' design, which allows decoupling by simply pulling on the plug and hose
