The Eaton Industries Switchgear cable gland is made of grey polyamide and designed to fit a cable diameter between 16-28mm. It features a metric thread type, with a nominal thread size of metric/Pg 40 and other NPT/gas pipe in inches. Its thread pitch is 1.5mm and thread length is 12mm, with a wrench width of 52mm. Suitable for use with NYM/NYY cables, it is also designed for a 5x16mm² 4-wire NYM. It has an IP68 degree of protection to 5 bar for 30 minutes, comes with a lock nut, and has built-in strain relief. Its drilling dimensions are 40.5mm and it is RAL 7035 halogen-free. Its flammability classification is V2 according to UL94.
