The Eaton Industries Xpole combined energy technology surge protector, suitable for IT, TN, TN-S, TT, and other network forms, is designed for protection against transient overvoltages caused by direct and indirect lightning strikes and switching operations. It features 4 poles and a storm surge (10/350) of 12.5kA, with a maximum continuous AC voltage of 280V and a nominal AC voltage of 280V. The safety level is 1.5kV for both L-N and N-PE. Conforming to IEC 60364-5-53 section 534, IEC 61643-1, EN 61643-11, and IEC 62305 for lightning protection classes III and IV, it is an SPD-type T1, T2 device without remote signaling.
