The DEHNventil is a multipole, modular surge arrester, type 1 and type 2, according to EN 61643-11, with spark-gap-based combined lightning current protection. It comprises a base and pluggable protection modules. With a maximum continuous voltage of AC 264V, nominal voltage of AC 230V, and DC 255V, it provides a safety level of 1.5kV. It features RADAX Flow follow current limitation for maximum availability, making it capable of protecting terminal equipment. Designed for protecting low-voltage consumer's installations, it is robust against surges and even direct lightning strikes. Conforms to the lightning protection zone concept at the boundaries from 0A - 2.
