The DEHNshield Basic is a multipole spark-gap-based combined lightning current and surge arrester. It adheres to EN 61643-11 and features a compact design due to its space-saving spark gap technology, with a width of only one module per pole. Best suited for use in retrofitted or refurbished residential buildings, it's capable of protecting terminal equipment. It meets all requirements of IEC 60364-5-53 and IEC 60364-4-44 and can be installed directly at the origin of the electrical installation. The two-pole device can withstand a lightning surge (10/350) of 15kA, operates at a maximum continuous voltage AC 255V, a nominal voltage AC 230V, and has a safety level of 1.5kV.
