Brass DN 7.2 (Euro) Blue-Coded Air Coupling Socket 9 mm Hose Pillar

Brass DN 7.2 (Euro) blue color coded air coupling socket with a 9 mm hose pillar connection. A pneumatic coupling is used to quickly connect air tools to a compressed air line. The coupling requires two parts: the socket (female) and the plug or nipple (male part). When disconnected, the coupling automatically shuts off to maintain the line pressure.

These air couplings are available in different colors with each a distinctive connection shape (octagon, triangle, circle). Plug and sockets of the same color can be combined, in this case blue. Two different colors cannot be combined. This prevents the risk of accidentally connecting to a wrong medium or pressure line. Please note that the color coded plugs are compatible to standard non-color coded sockets. Easily mount a hose over the 9 mm hose pillar. Optionally, order a hose clamp for proper fixation of the hose. This coupling is suitable for vacuum applications. The operating pressure range is -0.95 to 35 bar. The socket is suitable for temperatures between -20 to 100°C. The rated flow rate is 1800 l/min. The seal material is NBR (nitrile rubber). The sleeve material is aluminium. This DN 7.2 mm has a Euro profile and is popular within Europe.
