For media with max 100°C at a differential pressure of 1-25 bar. Housing of brass with PTFE sealing and a 25 mm orifice. The Kv-value is 10 m3/h (166.67 l/min at dp=1 bar water). Description
Bürkert indirect operating 2/2-way solenoid valve with G1'' inner threads and 230V UC (alternating or direct current) coil. The valve has a brass housing with PTFE sealing and an orifice size of 25 mm. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, which means the valve opens when voltage is applied. Suitable for systems with a differential pressure of 1-25 bar and a maximum temperature of 100°C. The valve has a Kv-value of 10 m3/h, this translates to a flow rate of 166.67 l/min at the differential pressure of 1 bar (for water). The brass housing is durable, suitable for neutral fluids and resistant to many chemicals. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethene or teflon) sealing, is resistant to almost all media. Please note that the internal valve parts, such as the stainless steel plunger and springs, are also in contact with the medium and must be chemically compatible. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium. Energy efficient design for a long product lifecycle. Since the valve has a maximum operational pressure of 25 bar, it can be used for high pressure applications. The valve is certified for ATEX Ex-Zone 1, so it can be used in potentially explosive environments requiring this certification. The valve has an IP65 rating if properly connected.

5404 series
The Bürkert 5404 is an indirect operated solenoid valve, which means that a pressure difference of at least 1 bar is required to open the valve. The 5404 has a piston to seal the valve, instead of a flexible rubber membrane. This robust design allows for high working pressures, in some versions up to 80 bar. Gas and steam versions are also available up to 160°C. The gate sizes range from 1/2" to 2". The dimensions of the orifice range from DN 12 to DN 50. A popular application for the 5404 valve is as a relief valve for compressors. In addition, versions are available with ATEX explosion approval. Gas and steam versions are available up to 160°C as well as special versions for temperatures from -40°C.
