Description
Bürkert direct operating 2/2-way solenoid valve with G1/4'' inner threads and 24V UC (alternating or direct current) coil. The valve has a stainless steel housing with FKM sealing and an orifice size of 3 mm. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, which means the valve opens when voltage is applied. Suitable for systems with a differential pressure of 0-5 bar and a maximum temperature of 100°C. The valve has a Kv-value of 0.23 m3/h, this translates to a flow rate of 3.83 l/min at the differential pressure of 1 bar (for water). The stainless steel housing is very durable, strong and resistant to a wide range of chemicals with the exception of chloride solutions. The FKM (fluorine rubber or viton) sealing has excellent chemical properties, is suited for most oils and solvents but it cannot handle hot water or steam. Please note that the internal valve parts, such as the stainless steel plunger and springs, are also in contact with the medium and must be chemically compatible. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium. Energy efficient design for a long product lifecycle. The valve is certified for ATEX Ex-Zone 1, so it can be used in potentially explosive environments requiring this certification. The valve has an IP65 rating if properly connected.

6013 series
The Bürkert 6013 valve is one of the most popular Bürkert solenoid valve types. It is a compact, direct operated plunger solenoid valve that operates without a differential pressure over the valve. It can be used for low pressure applications, but also has versions that operate up to 25 bars. The valve is designed for small flow rates with port sizes from G 1/8" up to G 3/8" and orifice sizes ranging from 2 to 6 mm. There is also a special SFB flange design available, which allows for the installation onto a manifold with additional valves. Besides the versatile standard versions, the 6013 is available with options such as ATEX approval, DVGW gas approval, pulse coil (latching), manual override, kick-and-drop function (energy reduction), extreme temperature versions and oil & fat free versions for oxygen, vacuum and analysis applications.
