Bürkert 2/2-way solenoid valve (type 6213) with G2'' threads and a 24V UC coil. Normally closed (voltage = open) and semi-direct operating, so no differential pressure required. For media with max 100°C at a differential pressure of 0-10 bar. Housing of brass with EPDM sealing and a 40 mm orifice. The Kv-value is 30 m3/h (500 l/min at dp=1 bar water). Low risk of water hammer thanks to dampened closing. Suitable for drinking water.

Description
Bürkert semi-direct operating 2/2-way solenoid valve with G2'' inner threads and 24V UC (alternating or direct current) coil. The valve has a brass housing with EPDM sealing and an orifice size of 40 mm. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, which means the valve opens when voltage is applied. Suitable for systems with a differential pressure of 0-10 bar and a maximum temperature of 100°C. The valve has a Kv-value of 30 m3/h, this translates to a flow rate of 500 l/min at the differential pressure of 1 bar (for water). The brass housing is durable, suitable for neutral fluids and resistant to many chemicals. The EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber) sealing is suited for neutral fluids and many chemicals, but it has poor resistance to oils and fats. Please note that the internal valve parts, such as the stainless steel plunger and springs, are also in contact with the medium and must be chemically compatible. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium. The valve's design prevents water hammering. Satisfies all European drinking water requirements. The valve has an IP65 rating if properly connected. Suitable for cold media with temperatures from -30°C.

6213 series
The Bürkert 6213 valve is a semi-direct operated valve. The plunger of the solenoid is coupled to the rubber membrane via a spring. The valve opens from zero bar, but only opens fully when a minimal pressure differential is present. Orifices up DN 40 and port sizes up to 2 inch are available. All 6213 valves satisfy protection class IP65 and it's housing has a damped design for quiet closing. The standard brass housing satisfies all European drinking water requirements. A special version (HP00) which opens the valve without differential pressure is available for gas and vacuum applications. For reduced energy requirement, all coils can be delivered with electronic power reduction.
