This is a Burkert direct operating 2/2 way solenoid valve with 20x20 mm SFB flange and a 24 V DC coil. The valve has a brass housing with FKM sealing and an orifice size of 2 mm. SFB is a Burkert specific flange design that enables compact mounting of multiple valves on a manifold. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, which means the valve opens when voltage is applied. As it is direct operating, no pressure differential over the valve is needed to open the valve. Suitable for a pressure range of 0 to 4.5 bar (65 psi) and a maximum temperature of 60 °C (140 °F). The valve has a Kv-value of 0.11 m3/h, this translates to a flow rate of 2 l/min at a differential pressure of 1 bar (for water). In imperial units: Cv = 0.13, which means 0.13 GPM @ 1 psi pressure drop. For many applications it is enough to select a valve based on the thread size and orifice diameter. The FKM (fluorine rubber or Viton) sealing has excellent chemical properties, is suited for most oils and solvents but it cannot handle hot water or steam. Please note that the internal valve parts, such as the stainless steel plunger and springs, are also in contact with the medium and must be chemically compatible. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium. The valve is fat and oil free, meaning it won't contaminate the media. Therefore, it's suitable for laboratory use as well as oxygen. The valve has an IP65 rating if properly connected.

The plunger valves of the D.EV series are designed for small flow rates and are often used in machine construction, instrument engineering and pneumatic equipment. This cost-effective valve type is designed for neutral and clean liquids, gases and vapors. A wide range of connections, including threaded connections, push-in fittings, and subbase flange, are available for the Type 6011 valve. The valve is available in brass, stainless steel and polyamide (nylon). Further options include certifications for drinking water, food, and oxygen. There are special options, such as helium leak test versions, highly sealed versions, strand versions, and free of oil, grease and silicon versions.
