Flanged Stainless Steel Expansion Joints PN 10-16

Stainless steel expansion joints are engineered to absorb axial movements, such as compression and extension in piping systems. These compensators are ideal for applications involving thermal expansion, vibration damping, and alignment corrections.

The bellows are made of 1.4541 stainless steel and flanges from galvanized and zinc-plated steel. There are also upgraded expansion joints that are fully made from stainless steel 1.4404 for heavy duty applications. The expansion joints are suitable for temperatures of up to 550°C, but pressure resistance drops as temperature increases.

These stainless steel expansion joints are used to compensate movements in pipelines carrying corrosive substances, damping vibrations and compensating for thermal expansion in heating and cooling systems and ensuring the integrity of pipelines in processing and transportation. They are suitable for chemical processing, HVAC systems and food and beverage industries.
