Bürkert SE35 advanced paddle wheel flow meter electronics (requires S030 fitting)
The Bürkert SE35 is the inline paddle wheel transmitter that adds running totals and dosing. It fits onto an S030 fitting and shows the flow rate and volume on a display with two totalizers. It is available as a flowmeter with a 4 to 20 mA output, as a batch controller for dosing a set volume, or as a battery unit that shows and totals the flow with no output. Combine it with an S030 fitting for a complete flow meter.
When to choose the SE35
Pick the SE35 when the job needs more than a live reading: a running total of the volume passed, or dosing a set amount and counting the batches. The two totalizers track total and daily volume on the display. The flowmeter version sends a 4 to 20 mA signal to a control system; the battery version needs no wiring and shows the flow and total on the spot, with no output. For a live reading with set-point switching, the SE32 is the simpler choice.
Frequently asked questions
What does the SE35 do that the SE32 does not?
It totals and doses. The SE35 keeps two totalizers for the volume passed, and is available as a batch controller that measures out a set volume and counts the doses. The SE32 measures live flow and switches at a set point, but does not total or dose.
Does the SE35 need a power supply?
The flowmeter version runs on a low-voltage DC supply and sends its 4 to 20 mA signal from it. A separate battery version needs no wiring at all: it shows the flow and running total on its display, but gives no output.
