Description
Bürkert 2/2-way pneumatic angle seat valve (type 2060) with welded end DN 20 ports. The valve has a stainless steel housing with PTFE sealing and an orifice size of 20 mm. The control function of the valve is normally closed (NC), which means the valve opens when air is applied. Suitable for media temperatures ranging from -10 to 185°C (14 to 365°F) at a pressure of 0 to 11 bar (0 to 154 psi). The valve has a Kv-value of 9.5 m3/h (Cv-value of 11.0 gpm). The stainless steel housing is durable, suitable for corrosive media and harsh environments. The PTFE sealing is resistant to almost all chemicals. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium.
Pros:
- The longest service life thanks to the fully stainless steel design
- The position feedback and control unit can easily be mounted on the actuator (not included)
- Versions that close against the flow direction are suited for liquids, steam and gasses
- Y-shape design allow for higher flow capacity and Kv value compared to vertical globe valves
Series:
Series 2060 angle seat valves with stainless steel actuators are pneumatically operated and meet the demands of tough process environments. Self-adjusting spindle sealing guarantees long lifetime and sealing integrity. Cleanability and robustness are ensured by laser welding. Using a ducted exhaust air port, the actuator can be operated isolated from the environment for optimum longevity and hygiene. High flow rates are attained with the optimized stainless steel angle seat body. In addition to conforming to EC Directive 1935/2004, variants that are FDA-compliant are also available.
