The surge arresters with remote indication have a feature for transferring information about the cartridge that needs to be replaced. They incorporate an end-of-life safety disconnector. The integrated breaking capacity, denoted by Isc, is 25kA. The Acti 9 iQuick PRD20r is compatible with TT and TN-S earthing systems.

The maximum continuous operating voltage in DM differential mode (between phase and neutral) is 350VAC, while in CM common mode (between neutral and earth) it is 264VAC. The voltage protection level in DM differential mode (between phase and neutral) is at most 1.5kV, similarly in CM common mode (between neutral and earth) it is also at most 1.5kV.
