The Acti9 iC60N is a low voltage circuit breaker. It consists of a 1P+N circuit breaker with one protected pole and a neutral that switches. It operates with a nominal current of 1A and a C tripping characteristic. According to the EN/IEC 60898-1 (household standard), this circuit breaker has a tripping capacity of 6000A at 230VAC. According to the EN/IEC 60947-2 standard (industrial standard), it has a tripping capacity of 50kA at 220VAC to 240VAC. The iC60N circuit breaker adheres to both the household standard EN/IEC 60898-1 and the industrial standard EN/IEC 60947-2.
This circuit breaker is designed to protect power circuits from short circuit and overload currents. It features a unique VisiTrip indicator that makes it easier to locate the tripped circuit breaker by clearly marking it. The VisiSafe's green marking ensures the physical opening of the contacts, enabling downstream maintenance work. This component's lifespan is extended by the fast tripping mechanism.
The Schneider Electric circuit breaker has an electrical lifespan of up to 10000 cycles and a mechanical lifespan of up to 20000 cycles. It operates with an assigned insulation voltage, Ui, of 500VAC. Its limitation class 3, according to EN/IEC60898-1, decreases the costs associated with the protection of power circuits.
