Description
This 2-way ball valve from Tameson with a nominal diameter of 80 mm is designed for on/off flow control.
The valve has Rp 3 inch threaded ports. This is BSPT (British Standard Pipe Taper). With our range of 3 inch fittings, the valve can be installed in any pipe.
The housing of the valve is made of nickel-plated brass, the ball is made of brass and the seals are made of PTFE. The valve is suitable for a wide variety of media, such as compressed air, water, oils, non-corrosive liquids and hydrocarbons up to a maximum pressure of 25 bar (363 psi). Also suitable for vacuum (max. -0.9 bar or -13 psi) The valve can be used within a temperature range from -20 to 150 °C (-4 to 302 °F).
Use the handle to operate the valve. By rotating it 90 degrees, the valve will open or close. If the handle is perpendicular to the pipe, the valve is closed. This valve is not suitable for electrical or pneumatic control.
