Description
This 2-way gas approved ball valve from Tameson with a nominal diameter of 15 mm is designed for on/off flow control.
The valve has Rp 1/2 inch threaded ports. This is BSPT (British Standard Pipe Taper). With our range of 1/2 inch fittings, the valve can be installed in any pipe.
The housing of the valve is made of stainless steel, the ball is made of stainless steel and the seals are made of PTFE. The valve is suitable for a wide variety of media, such as water, oil, compressed air, fuels, solvents, aggressive media up to a maximum pressure of 100 bar (1450 psi) and gases according to DVGW worksheet (e.g. natural gas, city gas, liquid gas up to 5 bar or 72.5 psi). Also suitable for vacuum (max. -0.9 bar or -13 psi) The operating temperature range is from -20 to 150 °C (-4 to 302 °F) and for combustible gases from -10 to 60 °C (14 to 140 °F).
Use the handle to operate the valve. By rotating it 90 degrees, the valve will open or close. If the handle is perpendicular to the pipe, the valve is closed. The valve has a flange according to the ISO 5211 F03 norm. This makes the valve suitable for electrical or pneumatic actuation.

The series is approved by DVGW for use with gases according to their worksheet (e.g. natural gas, city gas, liquid gas up to 5 bar). It is also suitable for water, oil, compressed air, fuels, solvents, aggressive media. Operating temperature range is from -10 to 60 °C (14 to 140 °F) for gas appliances and from -20 to 150 °C (-4 to 302 °F) for all other possible applications. The valves are handle operated
