This double-acting pneumatic actuator is ATEX certified. It is suitable for SIL 2 applications or SIL 3 applications in redundant configuration, making it an ideal choice for safety-critical and hazardous area installations. It is ideal for quarter-turn valves like ball or butterfly valves. The rack-and-pinion mechanism delivers a constant torque of 10.1 Nm at 6 bar (7.45 lb-ft @ 87 psi) with an input pressure range of 3 - 8 bar (43-116 psi). It fits ISO 5211 F03/F05 valves with a 9 mm star connection. The NBR seal allows continuous operation from 0 to 60 °C (32 to 140 °F) and temporary exposure from -20 to 80 °C (-4 to 176 °F). The 35-micron hard anodized aluminum body and polyester coated end covers ensure durability. Features include: mounting holes for Namur Size 1 solenoid valves, a 50 x 25 mm interface for VDI/VDE 3845 limit switch boxes, NPT air ports, stopper bolts to adjust end positions (-10° to +5°), and a clear position indicator. Rated for 500,000+ cycles. Comes with square adapters, bolts, and washers.
