NG6 (D03) Sandwich Throttle Check Valve A
NG6 / D03 sandwich throttle check valve in line A. It throttles the flow into the actuator (meter-in) or out of it (meter-out), depending on which way round it is mounted. Mounts between the directional valve and the sub-plate (ISO 4401-03, CETOP 3, NFPA D03). Recommended flow up to 40 l/min, maximum about 60 l/min. Ductile iron body and NBR seals, for mineral oil of 20 to 400 mm²/s from -30 to +80 °C.

Description
Use it to set the speed of a cylinder or motor on the A side. The flow in the other direction passes freely through the check valve. Mounted for meter-out, it throttles the return flow and keeps the actuator under control even when the load pulls on it. Turn the plate over for meter-in. Operating pressure up to 320 bar. It is supplied with its seals, but without fixing screws. Fix the stack with four M5 socket head screws of property class 12.9.
Pros:
- Sets the speed of the movement on the A side
- Meter-in or meter-out: turn the plate over to change the throttle direction
- Standard NG6 / D03 interface, stacks between valve and sub-plate
Cons:
- Supplied without fixing screws
- Throttles one line only - for both directions, choose the A & B version
- Not pressure-compensated: the set speed changes when the load pressure changes
Series:
Tameson NG6 sandwich throttle check valves for NG6 / D03 valve stacks (DIN 24340-A6, ISO 4401-03, CETOP R 35 H-03, NFPA D03). Mounted between the directional valve and the sub-plate, they set the speed of a cylinder or motor with an adjustable throttle, while a check valve lets the flow in the other direction pass freely. Depending on which way round they are mounted, they throttle the flow into the actuator (meter-in) or out of it (meter-out). Versions with a throttle in line A, in line B, or in both lines. Ductile iron body, steel internals and NBR seals, for mineral-oil hydraulic fluids of 20 to 400 mm²/s from -30 to +80 °C. Operating pressure up to 320 bar, flow up to about 60 l/min with up to 40 l/min recommended. The valves are supplied with seals, without fixing screws; the stack is fixed with M5 socket head screws of property class 12.9.
