The HVI Power Air-Termination Mast is a high-voltage-resistant, insulated down conductor for lightning protection. It retains separation from conductive components as per IEC/EN 62305-3 to prevent dangerous flashover between the external lightning protection system and indoor conductive parts. It features a special sheath that discharges high lightning impulse voltages, aiding the prevention of creeping discharge. The pre-assembled unit (in black) comes with a head piece and a loose connection element. It ensures a separation distance of ≤ 90 cm in air and ≤ 180 cm in solid material. The conductor, made from copper, has a cross-section of 25mm², composed of seven wires, and the exterior is covered with XLPE (VPE).
