The cabinets are suitable for outdoor installation, taking into account the influence of weather conditions on the operating resources. Cabinet parts and lid are made of impact-resistant polycarbonate, free of halogens and silicones, with RAL 7035 color and a transparent lid with quick releases for tool operation. It conforms to DIN VDE 0471 Part 2 - glow wire test 960 °C. Its maximum water absorption is 10 mg per DIN 53473. The protective measure is double-insulated (protection class II). This device includes a power terminal, Mi VE 303, 300 mm², 3-pole, installed on a 300x300 mm mounting plate.
