This Belimo retrofit linear electrical actuator is designed for controlling globe valves. The stroke length is 50 mm. The actuator delivers a force of 4500 N and can open/close the valve in 150 seconds. This actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC and has a visual positioning indicator to clearly see the valve position. The modulating actuator is requires a 2-10 V input and offers position feedback, ensuring precise control over its operation and accurate monitoring of its position within the designated voltage range. The actuator has a durable plastic housing and has an IP54 protection rating. This actuator can operate within ambient temperatures between 0 and 50 °C (32 and 122 °F). The actuator comes with a 1-meter power cable.

The actuator is equipped with overload protection, the actuator doesn't need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. Manual override is possible with a push-button, which disengages the gear train for as long as the button is pressed or locked. Stroke adjustments can be made using a 5mm hexagon socket screw key inserted at the actuator's top, with the stem extending when turned clockwise. The actuator can be directly mounted on the globe valve using form-fit hollow clamping jaws and it can be rotated 360° on the valve neck. The actuator can be controlled with a standard control signal of 2-10 V and moves to the position dictated by the control signal. Voltage measurement is employed both for visually displaying the valve position within the 0.5% to 100% range and as a control signal for other actuators. The default factory setting retracts the actuator stem.
