The actuator comes with a 1-meter power cable.
The actuator is equipped with overload protection, the actuator doesn't need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. Manual override is possible with a push-button, which disengages the gear train for as long as the button is pressed or locked. The stroke can be adjusted using a 4mm hexagon socket screw key inserted at the actuator's top, with the stroke shaft extending when turned clockwise. Manual triggering of adaptation can be done by pressing the "Adaptation" button. Both mechanical end stops are detected during the adaptation (entire setting range). The actuator then moves into the position defined by the control signal. The actuator can be directly mounted on the globe valve using form-fit hollow clamping jaws and it can be rotated 360° on the valve neck. The actuator is controlled via the Cloud, BACnet IP, or Modbus TCP and moves to the position defined by the control signal. Various data points can be written and read via the same interfaces. In hybrid mode, the actuator receives its analog control signal from the higher-level controller and moves to the defined position. Various data points can be read and written (except for the control signal) using the Cloud, BACnet IP, or Modbus TCP. Pros:
- Manual override
- The actuator is overload protected
- Visual position indicator
Cons:
- The time to open/close of 150 s is slow for some applications
