Sensotec LED System 55, without remote control, is available in pure white glossy finish. This system utilizes the Doppler effect, which is similar to traffic speed measurement, in order to detect motion. It is capable of detecting through non-shielding materials, making it an excellent choice for sanitary facilities that could be covered with a single Sensotec.

The features of this system include:

• Contactless switching that prevents soiling, hence eliminating user-driven contamination with viruses or bacteria.
• The capability of detecting motion in both close-up and long-range based on the reflecting surface, speed, and the nature of the object, such as a person, animal, or other object.
• The impact of metal frames on the detection range.
• A provision for extending the detection range through auxiliary units.
• The provision for auxiliary input operation with a rocker button.
• The requirement of an IR remote control to initiate and set various functions.
• The functionality of setting an individual brightness value and delay time (teach function).
