The Gira Dual Q smoke alarm operates on a combination principle with a sound intensity of 85dB(A). It features a smoke switch and a test button which is standalone and allows for cabling from the bottom. The device offers the option to connect wirelessly and can cable link up to 40 devices. The primary power source is a battery. Being Q-Label certified, it ensures reduced false alarms and increased durability. It's designed and approved as per KRIWAN, DIN 14676 and DIN EN 14604. The device operates on the photoelectric scattered light principle, which detects smoke early and signals hazard through a loud pulsing tone and a flashing LED. In case of power failure, an integrated battery with a life of up to 10 years automatically takes over. It comes with a 230V base providing mains power and doesn't require a mounting plate.
