This Bürkert pneumatic control unit (type 8697) is mounted on top of Bürkert type 20xx valves with CLASSIC 40 mm, 50 mm and 63 mm actuators. The air flow is controlled with a 11.7 to 35 V DC signal. The control unit replaces a solenoid valve. The unit has G 1/8 inch female threaded ports to connect the air lines and an M16 x 1.5 cable gland for electrical connection. External tubing is not needed, because the device has internal control air routing. LEDs show the status of the device. The unit is ideal for use in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries thanks to the easy to clean housing, IP65/67 protection and chemically resistant materials. This unit is IECEx certified.
