G1-1/2'' L-Bore 3-Way PVC Ball Valve ISO-Top F05 10 bar PTFE/EPDM
This 3-way L-bore PVC ball valve with a 38 mm bore size is designed for flow direction control. The valve has G 1-1/2 inch female threaded ports. This is BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel). With our wide range of 1-1/2 inch fittings you can connect it to any piping system. The valve body and the ball are made of PVC-U. The sealings are made of PTFE/EPDM. The valve is very suitable for contaminated water or corrosive media, such as chloride solutions (seawater or swimming pools). Besides that, the PVC-U body and PTFE/EPDM seals are suitable for salt solutions, diluted acids and bases, and polar solvents such as alcohols. They are not suitable for oils, fuels, or aromatic/chlorinated hydrocarbons - refer to the chemical resistance chart for specific media. The valve handles a maximum pressure of 10 bar at 20°C (145 psi at 68°F). The valve can be used within a temperature range from 0 to 60°C (32 to 140°F). The valve has a Kv value of 42 m3/h at a differential pressure of 1 bar (Cv = 48.55 gpm). Kv value expresses the flow rate of water in m3/h at a pressure drop of one bar. Pressure inlet is possible on all three ports. The valve has a flange according to the ISO 5211 F05 norm. This makes the valve suitable for electrical or pneumatic actuation. The valve is not equipped with a handle for manual control.

Pros:
- Suitable for contaminated water or corrosive media, such as chloride solutions (seawater or swimming pools)
- Suitable for electrical or pneumatic actuation thanks to the ISO-top F05 flange
- The L-bore design allows to direct flow from one of two inlets to one outlet (or vice versa)
- Pressure inlet on all three ports
Cons:
- Not equipped with a handle for manual control
Bore and circuit function
The ball has a L-port. Rotating the ball 90 degrees allows you to switch between two circuits.
