Description
2-Way mini ball valve made of nickel-plated brass with G 3/4 inch female threaded ports. The thread type is BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel). With our range of 3/4 inch fittings, the valve can be installed in any pipe. The nominal bore diameter is 12 mm. The mini ball valves are very compact. This makes them well suited for applications with little installation space or systems where a low weight is desired.
The housing of the valve is made of nickel-plated brass, the ball is made of brass and the seals are made of PTFE/NBR. The valve is suitable for various media, such as water (no steam), neutral, gaseous and non-aggressive, liquid media, mineral oils and compressed air up to a maximum pressure of 15 bar (218 psi) and vacuum (max. -0.9 bar or -13 psi). For corrosive or aggressive media, a valve made of plastic or stainless steel is better suited. The valve can be used within a temperature range from 0 to 90 °C (32 to 194 °F).
Use the handle to operate the valve. By rotating it 90 degrees, the valve will open or close. If the handle is perpendicular to the pipe, the valve is closed. This valve is not suitable for electric or pneumatic control. For this purpose, valves with an ISO-Top flange (ISO 5211) are recommended.
Pros:
- Weight and space saving solution
- Suitable for vacuum
Cons:
- Suitable only for manual operation, no ISO-top
