This 3-way T-port flanged ball valve with a reduced bore of 32 mm provides reliable on/off flow control. The valve has DN 40 PN 16 flanges. The housing of the valve is made of steel and the ball is made of stainless steel 304 (1.4301). The sealings are made of Teflon (PTFE). The valve is suitable for water, oil, air and fuel up to a maximum pressure of 16 bar (232 psi) and vacuum (max. -0.9 bar or -13 psi). The valve operates in a temperature range from -10 to 160 °C (14 to 320 °F). The ports overlap during the ball rotation. Avoid opening and closing it quickly to protect the system from the possible water hammer and further damage. The valve has an F05 flange according to the ISO 5211 norm. This makes the valve suitable for electrical or pneumatic actuation. Always check if the design of the mounting flange suits your actuator. An actuator can be mounted using a mounting flange according to ISO 5211 when it is used in conjunction with a special bracket and shaft adapter.

Pros:

  • Unobstructed flow path thanks to the full bore design
  • The ISO 5211 flange makes it suitable for electrical and pneumatic actuators and it is equipped with a handle for manual actuation
  • Suitable for vacuum
  • Easy installation and maintenance thanks to the standardized DN 40/PN 16 flange

Cons:

  • Pressure inlet only allowed from the center port
