Description
This 3-way L-port flanged ball valve with a full bore (50 mm) provides reliable on/off flow control. The valve has DN 50 PN 16 flanges. The housing of the valve is made of stainless steel and the ball is made of stainless steel 316 (1.4408). The sealings are made of Teflon (PTFE). The valve is suitable for hot water and steam, water, air, carbon dioxide, dilute acids and bases, strong acids and bases, oil, fuel, solvents, alcohols, lubricant, combustible gases, sea water and demineralized water up to a maximum pressure of 16 bar (232 psi). The valve operates in a temperature range from -20 to 200 °C (-4 to 392 °F). The ports overlap during the ball rotation. Avoid opening and closing it quickly to protect the system from the possible water hammer and further damage. The valve has an F07 flange according to the ISO 5211 norm. This makes the valve suitable for electrical or pneumatic actuation. Always check if the design of the mounting flange suits your actuator. An actuator can be mounted using a mounting flange according to ISO 5211 when it is used in conjunction with a special bracket and shaft adapter.
Pros:
- Unobstructed flow path thanks to the full bore design
- The ISO 5211 flange makes it suitable for electrical and pneumatic actuators and it is equipped with a handle for manual actuation
- Easy installation and maintenance thanks to the standardized DN 50/PN 16 flange
- Suitable for aggressive media and high temperatures thanks to the high quality materials
- Pressure inlet possible on all three ports
