Description
Presence detector with 360-degree field of detection for ceiling mounting. It has a range of up to 8 meters across, suitable for use in small rooms and hallways with very little or no natural lighting. It comes with a 16 A high-performance relay (tungsten pre-contact), particularly ideal for switching capacitive loads such as:
- Electronic ballasts
- Parallel-compensated fluorescent lamps
- Compact fluorescent lamps
- Energy-saving lamps
It offers automatic light control based on presence and daylight. It also includes an additional 'HVAC' switch contact for controlling heating, ventilation, and air conditioning depending on presence. The device can be programmed by remote control, for example, for continuous lighting ON/OFF and automatic storage of the current light value. To avoid operating errors, it includes a built-in selector switch for remote control/potentiometer settings. It comes as a flush-mounted device as standard. It also provides a Universal surface-mounted box IP 54 with double diaphragm line entrance (accessory).
It includes double plug-in terminals for through-wiring. It's a modular system consisting of a power box and plug-in sensor. After the painting work is complete, the sensor can be simply plugged into the power box. Due to the low overall height of the power box, it provides large wiring space. Default settings ensure immediate operability. There's an additional switch input for individual manual lighting control. The detector can be used as a fully automatic or semi-automatic device. The field of detection can be extended by connecting a 'slave' presence detector. Concealed setting elements prevent unintentional parameter adjustments. There's an in-built impulse feature for controlling automatic stairwell lights or control devices, and for use in facility management/PLC.
