The Esylux Protector is a photoelectric smoke detector designed for battery operation. It features an in-built relay driver for the PROTECTOR K switching relay. The detector offers safety through an automatic self-test function with fault display, and additional safety through an electronic smoke chamber testing feature that can be activated at the push of a button. The smoke chamber is also antistatic, offering protection against false alarms. The detector has a sound intensity of 85db(A). It has the option of cable entry from the bottom and the side, and can be interconnected through cable, with the option of radio interconnection. The maximum number of detectors that can be interconnected is 30. Its power supply primarily comes from a battery or an accumulator.
