The Esylux Protector is a photoelectric smoke detector with a working principle of optics and an operating sound level of 85dB(A). It has a test button feature and surface mounting capabilities. Cable entries are located on the bottom and side allowing connectivity via cable. Up to 30 detectors can be interconnected. The device is primarily powered by mains supply and has an AC supply voltage. It also includes voltage indication. The 230 V operating smoke detector has an in-built relay driver for the PROTECTOR K switching relay. It ensures safety through automatic self-test with fault display and provides extra safety through true electronic smoke chamber testing by a simple push of a button. An antistatic smoke chamber provides protection against false alarms. The device includes a back-up 9V block battery.
