This is a Belimo 2-way electrically actuated pressure independent flow limiter valve (PIFLV) with a brass housing and EPDM sealing. The bore diameter of the valve is DN 15 and the port size is Rp 1/2 inch with female threads. The built-in flow limiter maintains a constant flow volume and steady control even with pressure variations at a 90° angle. The maximum pressure differential is 2.8 bar (40.6 psi). The valve can operate between 2 and 60 °C (36 to 140 °F). The Kv value of the valve is 0.65 m3/h, equivalent to a Cv-value of 0.75 gpm. The actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC. The actuator features two-point (open-close) control. The actuator is equipped with a fail-safe (NC) feature that ensures safe operation in the event of a power failure. The installation of Belimo ZoneTight actuators on this valve is easy - it's as simple as clicking it into place. The actuator has an IP40 protection rating. The direction of flow, indicated by an arrow on the housing, is of utmost importance to prevent damage to the ball valve.

The actuator, equipped with overload protection, the actuator doesn't need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. Remove the actuator by clicking it out, and then use the actuator to rotate the valve spindle. The actuator can be hand-mounted onto the valve without requiring tools. Just ensure only vertical movements (Caution!). The pins should align with the flange holes. The mounting orientation can be configured in 180° increments in relation to the valve. The actuator's rotation angle can be adjusted in increments of 2.5° using a clip. This feature is used for setting the valve's maximum flow rate. The actuator simultaneously moves the valve to the required operating position and charges the integrated capacitors. If the power supply is interrupted, the stored electrical energy moves the valve to the fail-safe position, considering a factory-set bridging time of 1 second. The capacitor actuators require a pre-charging period to bring the capacitors to a usable voltage level. This ensures that, in case of a power failure, the actuator can move from its current position into the fail-safe position at any time. After factory delivery, the actuator is fully discharged and requires approximately 25 seconds of pre-charging before the initial setup to elevate the capacitors to the necessary voltage level.
