This is a Belimo 3-way ball valve with a brass housing and EPDM sealing. The bore diameter of the valve is DN 15 and the port size is G 3/4 inch with male threads. The maximum pressure differential is 2.8 bar (40.6 psi). The valve can operate between 2 and 100 °C (36 to 212 °F). The Kv value of the valve is 2.3 m3/h, equivalent to a Cv-value of 2.66 gpm. The actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC. The actuator is equipped with MP-Bus control type, enabling seamless integration and efficient management of connected devices in the system, ensuring reliable control and communication capabilities. The actuator opens/closes the valve in 75 seconds. The actuator has an IP40 rating. The actuator is equipped with a fail-safe (NC) feature that ensures safe operation in the event of a power failure.

The actuator, equipped with overload protection, doesn't need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. Remove the actuator by clicking it out, and then use the actuator to rotate the valve spindle. The actuator can be hand-mounted onto the valve without requiring tools. Just ensure only vertical movements (Caution!). The pins should align with the flange holes. The mounting orientation can be configured in 180° increments in relation to the valve. The actuator's rotation angle can be adjusted in increments of 2.5° using a clip. This feature is used for setting the valve's maximum flow rate. The actuator gets its digital control signal from the superior controller via the MP-Bus and moves to the defined position. The MP connection serves as the communication interface and does not offer an analog measuring voltage. The capacitor actuators require a pre-charging period to bring the capacitors to a usable voltage level. This ensures that, in case of a power failure, the actuator can move from its current position into the fail-safe position at any time. After factory delivery, the actuator is fully discharged and requires approximately 25 seconds of pre-charging before the initial setup to elevate the capacitors to the necessary voltage level.
