The Eaton Industries XComfort wired opening detector, in white, is a surface-mounted contact sensor with one normally-open contact configuration. The sensor, 6.8mm in diameter, comes with a connection cable, and a connection cable length of 0.45m. The sensor is 27mm long, 6.8mm wide, and 6.8mm high. This device is primarily used for monitoring doors and windows, with the sensor fixed in the drill holes provided on-site. The flush mounting contact is placed in the window or door frame, and the magnet on the moving part of the window or door leaf. Evaluation of the signal is only conducted via the binary input 2x signal contact in mode 2. It is not permitted for use with binary input 2x230VAC.
