The Eaton Industries MCCB residual current relay is an optional accessory for the NZM circuit-breaker series that offers a broad range of applications worldwide. Its flexible and easy mounting is possible due to its modular function groups. Approved according to IEC/EN 60947-2, it is suitable for use in three- and single-phase systems and is pulse current sensitive per the core-balance principle. The relay is usable for 3 and 4 pole NZM1(-4) circuit-breakers and N1(-4) switch-disconnectors. It operates independently of mains voltage with a fixed delay time setting and a warning message via a yellow LED. Two user-fitted auxiliary contacts are allowed, but not in combination with insulated enclosure or main switch assembly kit. In combination restrictions apply to shunt/undervoltage release.
