The DEHNclip rebar clamp, designed for lightning protection, allows for a safe, quick, and tool-less connection of earthing materials with reinforcement. Tested on a lightning current of 10/350 µs 2.5kA, the clamp is made of untreated steel and uses a parallel plug type connection. It's designed to connect a reinforcing steel mesh or reinforcement with round conductors. The diameters of the round conductors it can accommodate are 1 6 - 7mm and 10mm. Furthermore, it is compliant with EN 62561-1 standards for connecting clamps and does not require any screws for attachment.
