The DEHNbloc is a single-pole, modular, and coordinated spark-gap-based lightning current arrester. It is constructed of a base part and plug-in protection module and is type 1 according to EN 61643-11. Designed to protect low-voltage consumer installations against surges and even direct lightning strikes, it provides maximum system availability due to its RADAX Flow follow current limitation. The device is suitable for installation at the boundaries from 0A – 1 as per the lightning protection zone concept. It has a maximum continuous AC voltage of 255V, a wire cross-section range of 35mm² to 50mm², and a protection degree of IP20. It's DIN rail mountable with a 35mm rail, supporting TN, TN-C, TN-C-S, and TN-S grid types.
