The DEHNgap Maxi is a single-pole, modular lightning current arrester, designed specifically for installation in 3+1 and 1+1 circuits of TT systems as per IEC 60364-5-53. This type 1 arrester complies with EN 61643-11, and is intended for the protection of low-voltage consumers' installations against surges and even direct lightning strikes. Able to handle a nominal discharge surge current (8/20) of 100kA and a specific energy (W/R) of 2500 kJ/Ohm, it operates at a maximum continuous AC voltage of 255V. It features fiber optic cable signaling on the device and is housed in rail copper.
