This is a high-strength straight fixed ball point with a threaded pin and nut designed for use as the point of connection on both the phase and earth sides, in full compliance with EN/IEC 61230 (DIN VDE 0683-100). It is ideally suited for use on the conductor and the earthing system with a maximum short circuit current capacity of 42kA. It includes a connection for the earthing and ball fixed point of 25mm. This straight fixed ball unit maintains a strong mechanical integrity since the thread is uncut and is also perfectly suited for attaching cable lugs or connecting busbars in alignment with DIN 43673-1. The maximum thread cross-section for copper is up to 150mm², while the fixed point diameter stands at 25mm.
