The DEHNbloc lightning current arrester is a single-pole, modular, and coordinated system based on spark-gap technology. It's compliant with type 1 according to EN 61643-11. Comprising a base part and a plug-in protection module, it uses RADAX Flow follow current limitation for maximum system availability. The DEHNbloc is designed for protecting low-voltage consumer installations against surges and even direct lightning strikes. It should be installed in accordance with the lightning protection zone concept at the boundaries from 0A – 1. The system features a maximum flexible conductor cross-section of 35mm², a maximum solid conductor cross-section of 50mm², a maximum continuous voltage AC of 255V, and protection degree (IP) of IP20. It fits a DIN rail of 35mm and is applicable for TN and TN-C network forms.
